Rose Wilder Lane's  novel, "Free Land," a first edition from 1938. Published by Longmans, Green and Do. No dust jacket. Book is in good condition, shows age-related wear.

 A novel, published 1953, 1st edition, second impression, by J.P. Lippincott.
Pale blue boards with red lettering on spine; inscribed by former owner; good, clean copy with tight binding. Dust jacket is worn on edges and creases, some chipping on spine; unclipped corners.

Broken Necks - Hecht

 SOLD:  Ben Hecht's "Broken Necks" is a collection of short stories. If the name sounds familiar, it should, as Hecht was a successful Hollywood screenwriter, director and producer. His credits include the play "The Front Page" (made into movies several times, once with Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in "His Girl Friday"), "Notorious," and "Spellbound."

Good, solid book, published in 1926 by Pascal Covici, Chicago. No dust jacket.
